Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is best known for her leading roles in numerous television shows, as well as her outstanding performances in films. Her work is well-known on both Canadian and American Television. Emily began acting at 12 after she had a visit with her elder sister Katie in one of Katie's film productions. Once she discovered her passion for the acting world, Emily enrolled in classes for it and began auditioning. After several commercials that were successful, she was quickly cast in the Canadian kids' horror TV series Are You afraid to be in the Dark? It was the only scene in which she did not talk. When she was 15 years old, Emily got her first big break when she became a regular on the WB program Glory Days. Emily's role in the WB show Glory Days which ended up being cancelled 9 episodes later, drew the attention of and landed Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily is also a professional dancer also a photographer, and was named as among the top 20 Teen's actresses. Emily was listed as number 51 on the Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
