Katherine Heigl has revealed her childhood in a bubble of white and how this experience impacted how she raised her adopted multiracial children. The actress from "Firefly Lane" told an interviewer that it didn't matter the color of her skin for her. But after having a conversation with her adopted Korean American older sister she realized the difference in the way people were treated by her. I wanted to know Meg if, when out with her parents, she was treated with a specific manner and when out alone, she received a different kind of treatment. Meg replied "Oh sure! Every times!" Heigl explained to Parents: "That was when I realized that my naivety had caused me to feel." She became enraged by the incident, and decided to channel her anger into assist her daughters who were adopted by her. Heigl shares a son of four year with Josh Kelley, her husband over the last 13 years. They have adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea aged 12 in 2009, and then Adalaide whom was eight years old older and was Black as of 2012.
