Markie Post is a noted American actor best known for her portrayals of public defender Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABCs drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. In addition to acting, she is also a veteran of games shows. As a child, she was brought up in Walnut Creek with her siblings and poem Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school that she chose to attend. She was a cheerleader. She was a student at Pomona College for a short time and then was graduated from Lewis & Clark College, Oregon. Post was married prior to Stephen Knox. The couple has been together from 1982 on to Michael A. Ross, who is a writer and actor who has two daughters. Post is a role model for Hollywood as both a fantastic actress as well as a wonderful mother and wife. Post early acting credits include a 1979 appearance on Barnaby Jones in the pilot episode of Simon & Simon Details at Elevenin Episode one in 1981 of the second season of The Greatest American Hero two episodes of The A-Team as two different characters in The Only Church in Townin 1983, Hot Stylesin 1984 and The Love Boat. She also appeared in the ABC action drama The Fall Guy after appearing in the science fiction series Buck Rogers in The Twenty-First Century and as Diane Chambers her best friend on the sitcom Cheers.
